CONTEXT

✈️ Graduation season, planning my mom's dream trip

"When my mom visits the U.S., she always wants to visit New York.
But with graduation around the corner, I barely had time to plan a proper trip."

With graduation approaching, my mom was coming to visit the U.S. Visiting New York had always been one of her biggest dreams, but planning a meaningful trip in such a short time felt overwhelming.
So I decided to build a website — a weekend project powered by Cursor that turned into something truly special.

PROBLEM

The scattered pieces of trip planning

Limited Accessibility of Model Comparison. Due to Disconnected Workflow

Traditional trip planning methods had a few key pain points.

SOLUTION

① Boosting Feature Visibility

To improve accessibility, two features were combined into one place.
Placing Model Compare in the Prompt input keeps the feature visible while users interact with the system, increasing discoverability and engagement. This familiar pattern, widely adopted in recent Google AI products, OpenAI, etc., helps improve user engagement.

② Smart Constraints Improve Usability

Instead of listing numerous LLMs, I designed the experience to allow users to select and compare only two models. This constraint, combined with clear guidance, helps reduce decision fatigue and make decision-making easier.

IMPACT

Achieved a significant increase in both
engagement and satisfaction through A/B testing.
